Description

GravityZone EDR Cloud monitors your endpoints to detect suspicious activity early. It provides the tools needed to defend against cyberattacks and presents threats in a way that supports targeted investigation and a fast response. It runs as a standalone service inside the GravityZone platform and is delivered from the cloud.

The difference from classic antivirus lies in the approach. Antivirus mainly blocks known malware. EDR adds behavioral analysis, which lets it catch complex local and cross-company threats as well. It gives you insight into what happens on endpoints and supports faster incident response, continuous monitoring, threat hunting and forensic analysis.

Because EDR Cloud is part of the GravityZone platform, it can be combined with other modules and also serves as a base license for add-ons such as Extended Email Security, Compliance Manager or External Attack Surface Management. If you have no security analysts on staff, you can add Bitdefender MDR: the service pairs the EDR product with round-the-clock operations from the Bitdefender Security Operations Center.
