Description

GravityZone Full Disk Encryption protects the data on your endpoints if a device goes missing. A password alone is not enough: if the drive is removed and mounted elsewhere, unencrypted data is readable by anyone. This module encrypts the entire disk and blocks unauthorized access in one step.

It relies on the encryption built into the operating systems: BitLocker on Windows, FileVault and Diskutil on macOS. That keeps compatibility and performance intact, and you do not need an extra agent or dedicated key management servers. Pre-boot authentication makes sure nobody can read operating system data before identifying themselves with their credentials.

Everything is managed in the GravityZone Control Center, in the cloud or on premises. Start and data volumes can be encrypted and decrypted with a few clicks. Recovery keys are stored so encrypted volumes remain accessible if a password is forgotten. Encryption reports provide transparency and serve as evidence for requirements on data at rest, such as those from GDPR, HIPAA or PCI DSS.
