Description
The DBIR 2024 reports 180 percent more breaches caused by exploited vulnerabilities. At the same time, IT teams rarely have the hours needed to keep every operating system and application up to date. GravityZone Patch Management takes that work off their hands.
The module keeps Windows, macOS and Linux systems current, along with a broad range of third-party applications. Security patches and feature updates can be deployed automatically or on demand, and scans can be scheduled. Critical updates are prioritised, preferred vendors and products can be defined in advance, and required reboots can be postponed — without disrupting the network or the people using it.
Everything is managed from the central GravityZone console, with the same agent and policies as the platform's other security products. Endpoints with a relay role can act as patch caching servers: they download patches from vendor websites and distribute them across the network, which cuts internet traffic and limits outbound web access.
