Most organisations already run an EDR or XDR platform. What they usually lack is the layer in front of it: restrictions on the tools attackers use once they are inside. GravityZone PHASR Standalone provides exactly that layer.

This variant is sold as a standalone licence and works with any third-party EDR/XDR tool. It runs next to your existing security stack without changing how that stack is configured. If you already use GravityZone, the add-on licence is the right choice; if you work with another vendor, you take the standalone licence.

The technology is the same Dynamic Attack Surface Reduction (DASR): machine learning builds risk profiles for each user and endpoint pairing, identifies tools nobody uses, and adapts hardening as conditions change. Risky actions are restricted while applications stay available — PowerShell can remain permitted, for example, while encrypted commands are blocked. Recommendations are applied automatically in Autopilot mode or approved manually in Direct Control. According to Bitdefender, cyber risk drops by 30 percent or more within 30 days, with up to 50 percent less investigation and response effort.
