Modern attacks are more complex and spread faster. Signature matching alone loses against malware that behaves like ordinary software, runs without a file, or exploits a browser vulnerability. GravityZone Security for Workstations therefore relies on several layers instead of a single detection method.

It combines patented machine learning, behavioural monitoring and attack technique detection with exploit protection, application and content control, and Bitdefender Process Inspector. That anomaly detection technology responds to unknown threats at the moment they execute. Bitdefender feeds it telemetry from many hundreds of millions of systems, global threat intelligence from the cloud and more than 30 machine learning technologies — without slowing users down.

The endpoint protection stack adds further functions that work together: patch management, full disk encryption, internet protection, firewall, and application and device control. Where more is needed, add-on modules extend it: EDR for investigation and response, HyperDetect for spotting hidden attacks before execution, and Sandbox Analyzer, which sends suspicious files to a cloud sandbox automatically. Everything is managed centrally, and the solution scales to any number of endpoints.
