ESET Cloud Office Security protects email and cloud applications in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace – not the endpoints.

Description

Attackers no longer need to go after the workstation. A forged sender, a link in a calendar invitation, a QR code in an attachment: the attack happens where work happens, in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Securing endpoints alone leaves that route open. ESET Cloud Office Security therefore starts in the cloud rather than on the device.

The product scans incoming email and attachments as well as new and modified files, and filters spam out of mailboxes. Anti-phishing compares links found in email content against a database of known phishing sites. Anti-spoofing detects messages that imitate legitimate senders, while homoglyph detection uncovers addresses forged with characters from other alphabets. Malicious QR codes and manipulated calendar invitations are checked too; if needed, the system removes both the email and the entry.

Suspicious objects go to quarantine, where admins can review, delete or move items. Everything is managed through a cloud-based console for any number of tenants.
