Protection works in layers. File Shield checks programs and files in real time before they can be opened or run. Mail Shield, Web Shield and Real Site keep out infected attachments and fake websites. Behaviour Shield and CyberCapture also catch new threats that have no signature yet.

On top of that come an endpoint firewall, RDP and brute-force protection, and ransomware protection that stops files in protected folders from being altered or encrypted. A central dashboard collects status, alerts and reports.

What this tier includes

• Entry tier – Essential is the starting point; VPN, USB protection and Patch Management are not part of it.
• Management optional – the console is voluntary here, and the software can be installed on each device separately.
• No on-premise console – available only with the online management platform.
• Systems – Windows 11, Windows 10 (Pro, Education, Enterprise), Windows Server 2025 down to 2012, macOS 13 or later, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server.
• Licensing per device and term
• Renewal through the renewal product of the same name
