Your external attack surface is everything reachable from the internet: domains, applications, APIs, IP addresses and cloud services. Unknown or misconfigured systems are the easiest way in. GravityZone External Attack Surface Management (EASM) scans that surface continuously, using agentless cloud-based checks that require nothing installed on endpoints or servers.

It discovers publicly exposed IP addresses, ASN records, open ports, vulnerable public services, unpatched software, misconfigured services, and expiring certificates. Shadow IT and unmanaged resources come to light as well. The product also detects domains that resemble yours, which helps you stop spoofing and impersonation. Because third-party assets are monitored too, you can assess the risk profile of vendors and suppliers.

Every finding is rated by severity, and results arrive within minutes. Real-time alerts report new vulnerabilities, exposed assets, certificate expirations and misconfigurations. Findings flow into the GravityZone risk management workflow for a combined inside-out and outside-in view. Security analysts use EASM for threat hunting and prioritization, IT administrators for patching and shrinking the attack surface.
