Description

In the cloud, little happens dramatically all at once. Encryption gets removed, a sign-in arrives from an unusual region, logins fail in a row. The GravityZone XDR Cloud Sensor detects those patterns — and in this variant its events come together at Bitdefender's managed detection and response service, where analysts assess them.

The sensor monitors AWS, Azure and Google Cloud for security threats, detects suspicious activity such as removed encryption, and flags anomalies and failed logins. It consolidates cloud signals with those from other environments into a complete attack picture. Under MDR, the SOC adds judgment: you hear only about essential activity, not about every anomaly.

Like all native XDR sensors, it runs without custom integrations and reports events in a standardized format drawing on Bitdefender Labs and global threat intelligence.
