Email marketing

We write, design and send your campaigns – and make sure they reach the inbox instead of the promotions folder.

You do not get software from us, you get work: strategy, copy, design, sending and review. Jump straight to the packages and example prices or to deliverability.

What we do for you

Six building blocks that together make a campaign – from the idea to the review. The sending software is only the tool; on its own it fills no inbox.

Strategy & planning

We define who you are writing to, what the campaign should achieve and how often you send. Without a plan, even a good list turns into mail nobody wants to read.

  • ✓Goal and audience
  • ✓Topic plan
  • ✓Sending rhythm
  • ✓Campaign calendar

Copy & design

We write the copy and build the template. You approve, we implement – with several drafts to choose from if you like.

  • ✓Subject line and preview text
  • ✓Copy in your voice
  • ✓HTML template
  • ✓Mobile rendering

Sending & technical setup

We send through a professional email service and set up the technical side so your messages can actually arrive.

  • ✓Test send before launch
  • ✓SPF, DKIM and DMARC
  • ✓Bounce handling
  • ✓Sending via an email service

Audiences & segmentation

Not every recipient gets everything. We group your list by interest, location or buying behaviour and write for each group.

  • ✓Build segments
  • ✓Personalisation
  • ✓Automated sequences
  • ✓Welcome series

A/B testing

We pit two versions against each other – subject line, copy or button – and keep the one that performs better.

  • ✓Two versions per test
  • ✓Opens and clicks
  • ✓Step-by-step improvement
  • ✓Documented findings

Reporting & review

You find out what happened: who opened, who clicked, who unsubscribed – and what we will do differently next time.

  • ✓Opens and clicks
  • ✓Unsubscribes and complaints
  • ✓Delivery rate
  • ✓Recommendation for the next campaign

Setup: €250 one-off

At the start we set everything up: building the recipient list, creating the template and establishing deliverability. Setup is charged once, not monthly.

Example prices, not a binding offer. The amounts are a guide to the typical effort. The final price depends on the number of campaigns, the size of the list and the scope of the copy; you receive a written quote before we start.

Deliverability

The most common reason email marketing fails is not the copy. It is the question of whether the message arrives at all.

Large providers such as Google and Microsoft decide for every single message whether it lands in the inbox, in the promotions folder or nowhere at all. How exactly they calculate that is not published. What is certain: it depends on the reputation of your sending domain – and that reputation comes from technical setup and from how recipients behave.

The following six points decide whether your campaign arrives. We set them up and keep them in order.

SPF

SPF is an entry in your domain’s DNS. It tells the world: these servers may send mail for me. Without it, every message looks like it came from a stranger – and is treated that way.

DKIM

DKIM is a digital signature on every message. The recipient uses it to check whether the mail was altered on the way. Without a signature, a forged message cannot be told apart from yours.

DMARC

DMARC defines what should happen when SPF or DKIM fail – and sends you reports when someone abuses your domain. Only with DMARC do the other two entries take effect.

Domain warm-up

A new sending domain is unknown to the large providers. That is why we increase volume slowly over weeks. Anyone who sends 20,000 messages on day one is classified as a bulk sender – and does not get out of that corner quickly.

Complaint rate

This counts how many recipients hit “spam”. Even a few complaints are enough to stop future messages from reaching the inbox. We watch the rate after every campaign and react before it gets expensive.

Handling bounces

Not every address still exists. We remove undeliverable addresses from the list immediately. Anyone who keeps writing to dead addresses damages their domain’s reputation for good.

To be honest: there is no guarantee. Nobody can promise that every message lands in the inbox – we cannot either. What we can do is build your domain’s reputation technically and in terms of content so that the odds are good. And we tell you when a list or a sending plan is not viable in our view.

Legal

Data protection and consent are not an appendix – they are the precondition for being allowed to send at all.

Consent

In Germany, advertising by email is only allowed to recipients who have consented beforehand. That consent has to be verifiable – with the date and the place where it was given.

Double opt-in

After signing up, the recipient gets a confirmation email. Only when they click the link inside does the address go on the list. This protects you from foreign and mistyped addresses.

Unsubscribe link

Every message contains a visible unsubscribe link, and the opt-out takes effect immediately. A missing or hidden link is one of the most common reasons for complaints.

Data processing agreement

We process the recipient list only on your instructions and sign a data processing agreement to that effect. An equivalent agreement is in place with the email service we use.

We are not lawyers and we do not give legal advice. We tell you what we build in technically and which documents we need in order to send. The legal assessment of your case – for example with existing customers or old lists – belongs in the hands of a lawyer.

We do not send to bought, borrowed or “found somewhere” address lists.

What you need to provide

Without these five things no campaign can start. We would rather say up front what is missing than afterwards.

Recipient list with consent

The addresses plus proof of where they came from. Without proof, we do not send. This is not bureaucracy: without consent you risk complaints, trouble with the authorities and the loss of your deliverability.

Sending domain

The domain you want to send from, and access to its DNS records. Without that access we cannot set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Content

Topics, offers, dates and images. You know your business, we know the form. The earlier the content arrives, the calmer the sending day.

Approvals and one contact person

One person who approves copy and dates. If nobody approves, sending slips – in practice that is the most common delay.

Access to your sending account

If you already use an email service, we need access to it. If you do not, tell us in the first call – then we work out which service fits your list and volume.

How it works

01

First call

We clarify goal, audience, list and scope. Afterwards you receive a quote with a fixed price.

02

Setup

We set up the list, build the template and configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC. A test send goes to you.

03

First campaign

We write, design and send after your approval. Before sending we check links, images and rendering.

04

Review

After sending we go through the numbers and findings and plan the next campaign.
