Description
GravityZone Security Data Lake brings your environment's security telemetry together. Logs from endpoints, networks, cloud environments and other sources are collected centrally, parsed into a common schema and correlated. Storage is tiered: hot, warm and archive.
Archive duration applies to the archive tier. Data you do not need for live search does not have to sit in expensive hot storage. It moves to the archive and can be restored selectively — within seconds, for investigations or audits. Ingestion and storage costs stay under control without giving up visibility.
Archive duration is therefore the setting that maps to your retention obligations: regulatory deadlines, internal policies or contractual requirements. If you have to show what happened months ago, you pick a matching duration.
